The Birdie with extended setting sleeve is the compact solution for precise rivet connections in hard-to-reach, deep areas. With its lightweight design and balanced ergonomics, the can be used for long periods without fatigue and with maximum ease of use. The extended setting sleeve is perfect for applications where low-lying areas and tight spaces make access difficult - ideal for white goods, air conditioning and many other applications. With a setting force of 10kN and a 25mm tool stroke, the Birdie can process blind rivets up to 5mm in diameter in all materials. In addition, the 100% ball-bearing components in the drive unit and the wear-free BLDC motor ensure extremely fast and precise setting processes. Other practical features of the Birdie include the integrated light ring, which directs the light precisely onto the nosepieces and the riveting point, enabling riveting even in difficult lighting conditions. Thanks to recuperation, the Birdie can work with great endurance, because every bit of energy is utilised - any braking energy is fed into the battery and is available for further riveting processes. If the battery does run out, the control unit signals both acoustically and visually that charging is required. Cleaning and replacing the jaws, as well as changing the nosepiece, can be done easily and completely without tools on the Birdie. To ensure the greatest possible freedom and conserve resources, the Birdie is embedded in the manufacturer-independent CAS battery network. With the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), tools from a wide range of applications can be easily combined with each other thanks to standardised batteries and chargers.
