Industry Day at GESIPA^®

A powerful event for strong connections

 

To mark our 70th anniversary, we welcomed over 70 international customers and partners to our site in Mörfelden-Walldorf on June 25 for Industry Day. The day was all about blind rivet technology, with exciting specialist presentations, exclusive insights into our technology, and practical demonstrations.

Our guests were accompanied individually by GESIPA^® contacts and were given a direct insight into our latest product highlights: In addition to the GAV-Neo electro-pneumatic blind riveting machine and the iBird^® Pro CL battery-powered riveting tool, the innovative PolyBulb^® blind rivets also impressed in practical tests.

Our team from the headquarters in Hesse was supported by colleagues from Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, and England, who contributed their expertise to the supporting program and were available for technical discussions. During the breaks, a summer BBQ with cool drinks provided ample opportunity for networking.

 

GESIPA^® demo van: Fastening technology on wheels

A special highlight was our GESIPA^® demo van, which served as a mobile showroom with state-of-the-art technology, a wide selection of riveting tools, and many samples. This allowed our guests to experience our fastening technology in a practical and interactive way—right on site.

 

Demonstration Center: Experience and try out technology

In the Demonstration & Training Center, our visitors were also able to find out about the latest product innovations. The GAV-Neo, the iBird^® Pro CL, and other innovative solutions such as the UniversalGrip and our e-Fastening system attracted particular interest. Our teams of experts were on hand at all times to answer questions and invite visitors to try out the products—including blind rivets.

 

Technical presentations on products and partner projects

The program was rounded off by exciting technical presentations. Martin Felsberg, Product Manager for Threaded Fasteners, presented the basics of blind rivet nut technology. Other presentations highlighted successful projects with our long-standing partners Herrtwich GmbH from Hesse and Fill Gesellschaft m.b.H. from Upper Austria.
