The new FireBirdie® is not only smaller and lighter than the FireBird® Pro, but also impresses with its endurance and performance. Weighing only approx. 1.7 kg including the battery, the tool is particularly ergonomic and ideal for mobile use.
The stroke of 15 mm and the setting force of 13 kN enable a working range up to M8 steel. This means that the FireBirdie can effortlessly handle a wide range of applications – from finer work to demanding industrial applications.

Endless drilling and undrilling
The tool allows continuous drilling and undrilling – regardless of the length or condition of the blind rivet nut. Even pre-inserted or particularly long blind rivet nuts are reliably drilled or undrilled completely.

Tool-free change of the setting sleeve
Thanks to the two-part sleeve system, the threaded mandrel and mouthpiece insert can be changed quickly, safely and without tools. The sleeve diameters (Ø21 mm at the front, Ø23 mm at the rear) ensure optimum accessibility to tight components.

As part of the CAS family, the batteries can be used flexibly with various tools from different manufacturers.
BLDC motor
The BLDC motor is almost wear-free, and the setting process is significantly faster than standard battery-powered tools on the market.

Drilling out possible at any time
If it becomes necessary to stop the process during operation – whether due to incorrect installation, material problems or other circumstances – you can stop and undrilling at any time (as with the ‘green button’ on the FIREFOX®).
Drilling out by simply pressing down
The drilling-out process is triggered by lightly pressing down on the blind rivet nut – without pressing any buttons. This reduces the process time and makes the application intuitive and fast.

Thread-Safe-mode
In ThreadSafe mode, the blind rivet nut is set until either the defined setting force or the set setting stroke is reached.
This mode combines both methods – force and travel control – to create a particularly safe, controlled setting process. This double safeguard ensures that the thread of the blind rivet nut is not damaged even if used incorrectly and is always set correctly.
This reduces errors, protects the component and ensures maximum process reliability – especially in demanding or safety-relevant applications.
Thanks to these options, you can optimally adapt the tool to your production processes at any time – whether on the production line, in assembly or in mobile service use. This ensures that every setting results in a precisely controlled, reliable connection.
Force-controlled mode
In force-controlled mode, the blind rivet nut is set until a defined setting force is reached.
Long proven and well-known from the FireBird® Pro, the FireBirdie uses the same settings.
This ensures consistently high quality and is particularly useful for materials with low tolerances or when repeat accuracy is a priority.
Digital position control
In digital position control mode, the BNM is set until the set stroke is reached.
This allows you to precisely control the setting process based on the position, i.e. the stroke. This setting is ideal when constant installation depths are required, for example in typical series applications with high quantities and reproducible processes.

The FireBirdie® is part of the manufacturer-independent Cordless Alliance System (CAS) and can be operated with the powerful batteries of this system.
