monitoring the setting process, in order to provide additional recording and documentation of the exact function of each individual blind rivet. Modifications are being made, for instance on the cordless riveters for use outside the sphere of riveting: they can be used for removing dents from car bodywork, for reaming out plastic pipes for under-floor heating systems, and for perforating metal plate. Machines are being designed that always take into account the commercial, technical, and ergonomic aspects. It goes without saying that we work with ultra-modern software such as ProEngineer and SAP R/3. As a basic principal, we aim with all our devel-opments and innovations to improve the customer benefit. Working in close collaboration with our customers we prepare concepts that serve both to solve the technical problem, and to save costs. Importantly as well, we train your employees on our product range, which also means servicing and maintaining the machines.
Research and development have a long tradition at GESIPA. There is good reason for our having set new standards in blind - riveting technology. We will also continue to do so, as can be seen from the dramatic success of the development of pneumatic - hydraulic blind riveters under the name of the TAURUS series.
Then there is the Flipper manual riveter and the electro- mechanical blind riveters in the Bird family, not to mention the clamp-profile or stainless - steel blindrivets, the Bulb-Tite and CAP blind rivets, and the staged and bolt blind rivets. In addition to this there are the fully automatic GAV blind-riveting machines and their later version, the GAV robotic systems. All in all, these are innovative problem solutions that redefine the state of the art.
